As Muslims, learning to read and understand the Qur'an is a very important aspect of our Deen (way of life). It's crucial for Muslim home educators to make learning the Qur'an the center of education. The Qur'an is full of wisdom, lessons, miracles, stories, and many more. One ayah (verse) alone can be enough to cover a whole lesson; that's how deep it can get. There's more to learning the Qur'an than simply reciting it. There's Tajweed (the way it is recited), Tafseer (the explanation of the ayaat), the implementation of what was learned, and more. As a home educator, it is possible to learn and teach the Qur'an to your children/students as best as you can, but of course it possible, it would always be much better to get a teacher with qualifications.
Here are few resources that may help you in shaa Allah:

House of Qur'an
House of Qur'an is a site where you can listen to the Qur'an, repeat ayaat as many times as you like, and repeat after the reciter. There's even the option to repeat words depending on reciter you choose. I've used this site and found it very useful, maa shaa Allah.
Quran.com
This site has the Qur'an with the Sahih International translation of the meaning.
QuranExplorer
This is a popular Qur'an site that has many different reciters and translations of the meaning of the Qur'an.
Qur'an for Kids Repeat by Menshawi
This one has the recitation of Menshawi and children repeating after him; ayah by ayah. It's a nice way to memorize the Qur'an because of the repetition. The recitation is also very clear.
Tardeed (Al Qaedah. Learning pronunciations)
Tardeed pretty much outlines the pronunciation of Arabic letters, how to combine them, and how to read them properly.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir Vol 1-10 PDF
This is self-explanatory. It is Tafsir Ibn Kathir; one of the most popular books of Tafsir. It's important to understand the Qur'an using Tafsir instead of making self-interpretation. We should understand the Qur'an the way the previous generations did (dating back tot he Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him). It has all volumes; 1-10. This book has 5698 pages.
80% Qur'an Vocabulary PDF
If you want to quickly learn how to understand the Arabic of the Qur'an, you may want to use this shortcut. This book claims to have 80% of the Qur'an vocabulary, making it easy to understand the Qur'an once you learn all vocabularies in shaa Allah.
80% Qur'anic Arabic
It's the same as the above, but you have the opportunity to test yourself after each unit on this site.
Help Yourself in Reading Qur'an PDF
This book makes it easy to properly read the Qur'an.

Maqraa: Free Live Qur'an Classes
This site has free Qur'an live classes with a teacher who corrects the student's recitation. You can sign up from anywhere in the world. Some teachers may speak English and some only speak Arabic. So if you speak Arabic, it may be easier for you. If you don't speak Arabic and speak English, still try because you may end up being assigned to an English speaking teacher.
Juz 'Amma Workbook
This was made by a homeschooling mother. Her workbook makes it easy to track your recitation, Tafseer, and understanding of Juz 'Amma; ayah by ayah.
Gardens of Arabic: Tajweed
This site has many tajweed lessons.
